crafty things

1 roll of wallpaper going & going & going.

Loved the new paper found at a thrift shop or rummage sale for $1 but not enough of it to do an entire room...
I hand cut my leaf pattern & then traced them onto the back of the wallpaper & cut them each out by hand with scissors.

I am a big believer in stacking storage.

desk top from EW to AHHH !

Picture
cut to fit ! Very simple.I was lucky the desktop was the same width as the wallpaper so all I needed to do was to cut the length.

I used these big sized leaves in 2 places in the house...

the master bedroom as seen here & ...

this bedroom is taking a very long time.I still need a bedroom set - which I am hoping for soon!

front room

my home is a modular home.Yes,a doublewide on a full basement.I LOVE it.I am glad to be out of the city & even glad to be out of the 3 bedroom 3 bath brick ranch I was in with a HUGE fireplace & tada tada...home is where you hang your heart.

same thing with the circles.Choose a size you want.Trace them on the back of the wallpaper .Cut out.Fold to find the middle & cut a straight line down the center!

Picture

not done in the guest bathroom but wanted to show you ways a little wallpaper can be used

Picture
the reason this is the way it is:
I didn't have nearly enough grass paper (with the birds & leaves) so I was finding ways to work several decos in to make it work LOL

wallpaper wall pockets

Picture
another thrifted/rummage sale $1 item.It was easy to make wall pockets for my laundry room ! I deliberatly left the strings from where I cut them off the sewing machine thinking I would later add some beads ! I'll just string them on when I can !

crayola rubbing: DIY wall vinyls

Picture
I saved the backing from a store bought wall vinyl & did a crayon rubbing on the back of the wallpaper. This was the result !
I am soooo pleased with how it turned out~!
Are you ?

a little more of the diy WALL VINYLS

Picture
This was fun too ! Done by crayon rubbing the leftover part of the store bought wall vinyls onto the back of $1 a roll wallpaper. -- I GOTZ TO BE ME enit ?!?

store bought version...

Picture
I bought it online.Saved the backing & crayon rubbed the parts to make a FREE version of $1 a roll prepasted vinyl wallpaper. The design comes in parts. You peel it off piece by piece, position it & on to the next piece - so it can be placed in any which way you choose ! This is  just a small portion of the entire sheet.

Crayon rubbing in the works...

this was from a different set of vinyls
