Anything not plastic or foil gets squished down into a drink box.
Lot's of junk mail (lots of catalogs someone signs me up for) included,
paper & cardboard that would go into the trash goes here.
I take cig packs apart & add them -- some of the parts of the box I have another use for with the Sizzix or my other craft punches
Duct Tape mini's
A video I watched said they used ink pen barrels to wrap their tape onto. I am using drink straws. New ones are fine but I recycle my used ones by rinsing them & drying. Blow through it a little bit to dry the inside if you want to
Start the tape on the straw horizontally & wind.It does sometimes want to go on uneven. I made 4, some the size around as a dime & some the size around as a nickle. There's several feet in each one. To make the loose end not get super stuck or lost stick something plastic under the flap before laying it down. I have used a loose button under the flap end of tape before to not loose the end. Here, I used plastic paperclips from Dollar Tree.
I'll do the same with electrical tape to have some to stow in the car. Inside the straw is a tiny bit of room. I think that will be a great place to tuck a wooden matchstick which I have dipped the strike end into candle wax the next time I burn a candle. Around that matchstick I will probably wrap a small bit of fishing line.
HUGE bag of TP inserts waiting to become fire starters
These are good to store cords too -- just write the length or other info onto it with a Sharpie or something.
