I have store bought templates in several sizes & shapes for making these, but sometimes I get an envelope in the junk mail & want to make some patterned after it ... this batch were made from one of the junk mail ones !
Some got sizzix die cuts added (peel stick) & some got other elements from other magazine pages pasted on
some of the text on the original ad got covered over, either with torn pieces of another ad page or a cut out got stuck on it -- depending...
this is one of my favorites -- I already had the dies & realized they went perfectly. The trunk hinges & keys...
I even cut little rivets out & applied them ~
flip side of the one above with keyhole --
the blackened hole is from peel & stick blackboard paper
vinyl lace & velvet ribbon & a belt buckle of copper contact paper
I left the "ghost" (paper backing from the peel) & stick attached to some of them, to be peeled off when I want to use them later, to serve as a closure...
these were torn out, slowly, from one page & pasted on the envelope
I love the swirly dies too -- this one is aluminum
key & leaves
I did collage on the envelope flap on this one & another couple of them
